Why Choose Wrap Over Paint?

Vinyl wrapping is an excellent way to personalise your vehicle. It offers a variety of benefits over traditional painting.

The most obvious benefit is that itā€™s much more cost-effective than a custom paint job. Vinyl wraps also offer a lot more design options and flexibility, so you can easily customise the look of your vehicle. Furthermore, the wraps are very durable, and they can protect your vehicleā€™s paint job from sun exposure, road debris, and other hazards. The best part is that you can easily remove the wrap when youā€™re ready to change the look of your car.

How long does it take to wrap a car?

This depends on the size of the vehicle and material chosen, we normally advise a lead time of 5 working days days for a medium size vehicle. Please contact us for an accurate answer for your vehicle and chosen wrap material. We are conveniently located in the heart of the UK with courtesy cars or good transport links available, book in now for car wrapping in Nottingham.

How long will a car wrap last?

Wraps can last upwards of 5 years however, this is greatly dependent on how you look after them. As with vehicle paintwork, the wrap needs to be maintained and cleaned properly to increase the longevity of the finish. We provide full guidance on caring for your car wrap in our Wrap Care Package (provided upon collection of your wrapped vehicle). Furthermore, we are always on hand to answer any queries you may have.

In addition to this if your vehicle is exposed to the elements all year round it will reduce the lifespan compared to a vehicle which is under cover.

What colours and brands are available?

We work with a number of suppliers, Hexis, 3M, Oracal, Avery Dennison, Inozetek to name a few. Therefore there is an endless selection of colours and finishes to choose from. We have sample books on site, so if youā€™re looking to get your vehicle wrapped, book an appointment and we can discuss your options.

How do I clean my wrap?

We offer full guidance on washing your car wrap in our Wrap Care Package. However, itā€™s strongly advised you donā€™t use drive-through or automated car washes. We recommend you are cautious when using a jet wash, particularly one with a high pressure output, keeping the nozzle 30cm away from the material. Neutral pure shampoo with hot water is the best method of cleaning, avoid any abrasives or wax based products to achieve the best wash.

Can the wrap be removed?

Yes, the wrap can be removed, we recommend seeking a professional to carry out this job as it can cause damage if done incorrectly.

Is the wrap suitable for all weather conditions?

Your vehicle can be driven in all weather conditions as the vinyl is a durable material. We do suggest that storing your vehicle inside will boost the longevity of the wrap, as dew or rain that settles on the car may contain acidic pollutants.
